Happening December 23rd, this new moon is ready for you and here’s a ritual to do before the Holidays completely take over.

The new moon in Capricorn asks three things of you…

1. Connect with the earth and ground into long-term plans and desires.

2. Have patience with yourself.

3. Open up to possibility and synchronicity that arises as you deepen into your root energy and ground into your soul.

Now that we’ve got you grounded in elevated living and high expectations, here is a quickie ritual you can do for the new moon:

Step one: gather a candle, a notebook, and a pen.

Step two: find a natural element from outside you connect with. This could be a stick, a stone, an icicle, or (if you’re in the Midwest!) some snow you put in a bowl as you do the ritual.

Step three: light the candle, set a timer for 10 minutes, and journal about this question:

What do you desire for a long term plan?

As you think about this question, it can relate to love, career, money, or relationships. Whatever you’re connecting with, make sure it’s a desire you have for longevity.

Capricorn is all about dedication, slow movement, and wise decisions.

Capricorn does not mess around with intentions.
