Last night as I was doing my get-ready-for-bed routine, I could feel the meetings, emails, errands, and chaos from a publication day wash away.
With each step of my process, the layers of energy were released, and by the end of it all (and with a squeaky clean face!) I realized I needed to share the process with you.
TA-DA!
Introducing your nightly routine at-home energy cleanse process complete with products I use and recommend.
NIGHTLY ENERGY CLEANSE 🧼 ✨
Wash the day away & release the energetic gremlins.
STEP ONE:
Stand in front of your mirror and close your eyes. Set an intention for energy release. For example, you may say, “I let go of the negative feedback I received in an email today.” OR “I release the stress of the argument with my daughter.”
STEP TWO:
From that intention, think of a phrase you can repeat as you go through the entire process. For example, it may be, “Release the email.” OR “Let go of the fight.”
STEP THREE:
Grab your favorite make-up remover or cleanser and repeat the phrase you came up with as you apply it to your face. My favorite cleanser right now is Farmacy Green Clean.
STEP FOUR:
Pat your face dry with a towel. As you do, keep thinking about your energy release phrase. With each pat, imagine the energy transforming into sparkles.
STEP FIVE:
Grab your favorite toner and cotton swabs. As you apply the toner, think about the new energy — imagine sparkles or a color you love — sinking into your aura as you use your toner. I love Trish McEvoy’s Even Skin Clarifying and Correcting Toner.
STEP SIX:
Moisturize and lock in the good vibes! Keep the color or sparkles in mind as you put moisturizer on. Imagine them washing over your face and locking into your aura. For face moisture, I’m obsessed with Clinique’s (why, yes! I am 15 again!) Moisture Surge. For eye moisture, I love Sunday Riley’s Auto Correct.
Once you’ve moisturized, close your eyes and think or say, “I release all the cruddy energy and welcome in all the clear and settled energy.”
And VOILA! You’ve completed your nightly energy clearing.
