March 25th Full Moon Lunar Eclipse Ritual Inside
To get back into my writing routine, I'll be sending a daily email for 30 days, March 10th - April 10th. Feel free to unsubscribe if this isn’t for you.
As the full moon approached, I could feel the familiar sense of overwhelm creeping in.
The pressure to make the ritual special, to ensure I was doing everything right, weighed heavily on my mind.
Was I asking for the right intentions? Was I releasing the right things? It was a cycle of doubt and anxiety that seemed to repeat with each lunar cycle.
But then, after nearly a year of getting back into my Tibetan Buddhist practice and its meditations, something shifted. I realized that the true essence of the ritual wasn't in the grand gestures or the elaborate setups.
It was in the simplicity of the moment, in the act of being present and open to the energy around me.
So, as full moons have risen in the sky over the last year, I let go of the need for perfection.
I embraced the flow of simplicity, allowing the ritual to unfold naturally. I lit a candle, closed my eyes, and took a few deep breaths. I focused on peace and gratitude, letting go of any expectations.
Are you ready to embrace the simplicity of ritual?
Here's a full moon lunar eclipse ritual for you to try:
For a simple full moon lunar eclipse ritual on March 25th, find a quiet space where you can be alone. Light a candle or some incense to set the mood. Take a few deep breaths to center yourself.
Write down any feelings of doubt, fear, or negativity that you want to release. This could be related to your creative work, personal life, or anything else that is weighing on you.
Once you've written down these thoughts, fold the paper and hold it in your hands. Take a moment to visualize all of these negative thoughts leaving your body and being absorbed by the paper.
When you feel ready, go outside if possible and find a safe place to burn the paper. As you watch the paper burn, visualize all of those negative thoughts being released into the universe.
After the paper has burned completely, take a few more deep breaths and focus on the feeling of release and renewal. Take a few minutes to journal about your experience and how you feel after the release.
Finally, close your ritual by thanking the universe, the moon, and any other spiritual guides you believe in for their support. Trust that your intentions have been heard and that positive change is on the way.
