FULL MOON PREP
Before using the March 7th Full Moon energy with wild abandon, you must do some prep work.
The moon is in the quarter waxing phase and hits the first quarter tomorrow, February 27th. This moon asks us to clean up and organize before next week’s Full Moon.
Here’s your quarter-waxing moon prep work to-do list:
Check your creative work: Where are you stuck? What feels difficult?
Once you identify these obstacles, put on your editing hat and ask: “What can I remove from this?”
Whether it’s a sentence from a story, a color that no longer works on your canvas, or a vase you’ve been throwing that just won’t come together, let it go
When you do, you’ll make room for what’s next, AND your mind will be open to new creative ideas
Having trouble getting started? Here are 2 prompts to get you going and into creative action:
Ask yourself: What’s your creative frustration showing you emotionally? Name the emotion from this list: Mad, Sad, Happy, Afraid
Next, brainstorm the following: How can you use the emotion you’re feeling in your work?
Take several minutes and read an article, watch a show (see Ted Lasso section), read a book (I love this), or look at art that inspires you to work with this emotion (see Rachel Gloria Adams's work below).
This prep work will help you immensely in building momentum and sets you up for visibility success on the next full moon.
Here’s art inspiration from Rachel Gloria Adams to get started:
BOOK REVIEW
As I was preparing to write this week’s book review for Micheal Cecchi-Azzolina’s debut, YOUR TABLE IS READY: TALES FROM A NEW YORK CITY MAITRE D’, I was also DM’ing Michael himself and can attest: he’s as nice in the DMs as he is in the book.
I hope to visit his new restaurant, Cecchi’s, coming soon!
If, after reading the review, you’d like to buy a copy of YOUR TABLE IS READY, I would love to offer my affiliate Bookshop affiliate link for ease of purchase.

THE RETURN OF TED LASSO
Plus, the release of Daisy Jones and The Six + Poker Face
March is looking pretty bright for binge-watching some excellent releases.
Ted Lasso (AppleTV) is returning for the long-awaited third and final season on March 15th, and the release of the mini-series Daisy Jones and The Six (Prime Video) based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s 2020 book arrives on the scene.
Bonus watch: If you haven’t seen it yet, you’ll want to get on the Poker Face (Peacock) train with Natasha Lyonne and its star-studded cast.
I love this show so much I’ve scheduled myself to watch 2 nightly episodes.
Plus, it gives you something to do while you wait for Daisy and Ted.
THANK YOU
Thank you for reading this mini-magazine.
I’m so grateful you’re here. I know, as my son recently pointed out, there are many places you can find moon rituals, book reviews, and general entertaining information.
You choose to read here, and for that, I’m grateful.
Lots of exciting things are coming soon, and I can’t wait to tell you all about them. Please let me know if you have any feedback or readership suggestions.
